How long is a PhD course?
Friends, it is the dream of every student to make a better
career for himself.
Either the students study a little less and get a job early
or by giving a little more time to studies and think of taking jobs in good
positions.
Students who are a little more interested in studies and
have a desire to do research etc. to become a specialist in a subject of their
choice, they choose the course of PhD i.e. Doctor of Philosophy.
At present many students want to go for PhD, but some of
them are not fully aware about this course.
There is also a question in the mind of many that how long
is a PhD course? PhD is considered to be a high level course in the country in
today's time, which is the study of research etc. in a particular subject.
Duration of PhD course
First, talk about a little PhD course, then PhD means Doctor
of Philosophy.
PhD is a doctoral degree. To become a professor in a
university etc. or if you want, you can choose the field of research and thesis
and for this you have to do PhD.
After doing this degree, you can put the word doctor in
front of your name.
Because you get a lot of knowledge of the subject in which
you do PhD, you are called a specialist in that subject.
After doing this course, you can become a professor in the
college, or you can take good positions in many other fields.
Now directly talking about its duration i.e. course
duration, then the duration of PhD is generally 3 years.
That is, you can complete your PhD studies within 3 years,
but you also have the facility to complete it for 6 years.
Convenience means that in PhD you have to do research and
thesis, and to complete it in 3 years, you will have to put in a lot of hard work
and time.
Which is not possible many times, so in the time you can
complete it for 6 years, you will be able to complete your research by taking
good time.
PhD course takes time
The reason for how much time a PhD course takes is that
during this time you do research in detail on your topic.
For this you may have to go among the people. Research work
is not easy, for this a lot of data has to be collected, it has to be prepared
as a result and then thesis has to be written.
Talking about thesis, the PhD thesis is at least 75-80,000
words, it takes time to write the thesis etc. after doing well research, and
this is where this time gets prolonged.
Basically when you are enrolled in PhD then you have to do
PhD under a guide or supervisor.
They give you complete information about the guideline and
course. And you have to study accordingly.
During PhD course you have to attend seminars, publish your
research papers and participate in various academic activities.
All these combined make the total duration of the PhD course
longer.
How to do PhD?
We learned that the study of PhD student is to do research
and write a thesis in a subject of his choice.

who want to take admission in PhD should know its complete information step by
