year, 2 years or 3 years. So the same thing will happen for LLB.
The question related to LLB course in the mind of many
students is that after how many years is the LLB study?
Here in this article today we will mainly talk about the
duration of LLB course. Know how old is LLB?, When and how students can do LLB
course?, What qualification is required for this etc.
What is the duration of LLB course?
It differs slightly from other courses when it comes to the
duration of the LLB course.
Most of the courses have a fixed duration, and you can do
them only after a certain educational qualification.
On the other hand, there is a slight difference when it
comes to LLB because you can also take admission in LLB course with two
different educational qualifications.
It means to say that students who want to do LLB can take
admission in LLB even after completing 12th class.
And if he does not take admission in LLB directly after
12th, he does graduation first and then wants to study LLB after graduation,
then he can do that too.
That is, even after graduation l.l.b. can be enrolled in.
The difference between LLB after 12th and LLB after graduation is simply the
duration of the course, and this is where the LLB course differs from other
courses.
Duration of LLB after 12th
Students who have a dream to go into the field of advocacy
from the beginning, that is, those who want to become a lawyer from the
beginning, it is right for them to enroll in LLB course only after 12th.
Talking about the duration of LLB course after 12th, it is
of 5 years. In the process of getting admission in LLB after completing 12th,
you have to clear the entrance exam conducted for admission in LLB.
For admission to LLB in a good law college after 12th, the
candidate has to pass CLAT i.e. Common Law Admission Test, in which the college
is allotted to the student only on the basis of the marks obtained.
Most of the law colleges offer semester wise courses, and
the LLB course consists of 10 semesters over a period of 5 years.
Duration of LLB Course after Graduation
If students do not take admission in LLB after 12th, and
want to take admission in LLB course after completing their graduation, then
this option is also available for them.
Just after graduation the duration of LLB course is reduced
from 5 years to 3 years. In this situation also students study LLB semester
wise, 6 semesters are to be studied during 3 years.
It may seem that LLB is 3 years after graduation and 5 years
after 12th, so doing LLB only after graduation would be right but actually
doing LLB after graduation takes more time for the candidate.
Because graduation itself is of 3 years and after that LLB
is also of 3 years.
In this way overall it takes 6 years for a student to complete
LLB, whereas if he opts for LLB directly after 12th then he is left with 1
year. That is why most of the students are advised to do LLB only after 12th.
